Rafaat Abdullah, Vice President of the PUK, said Wednesday that the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections are crucial for the Kurdistan Region and for safeguarding the role of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
He emphasized that the PUK must intensify its preparations for the elections, noting that Baghdad is the primary arena of political struggle to secure the rights of the Kurdish people and to maintain balance in the Iraqi political landscape.
