The outgoing government of the Kurdistan Region is set to meet to discuss three key agenda items, including the draft oil agreement sent by the federal government of Iraq.

According to the agenda, the second item will focus on unifying financial procedures between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and Baghdad. The final item concerns preparations for launching the new school year.

At the same time, the State Council will hold a meeting to address the issue of non-oil revenues, which remains unresolved between Erbil and Baghdad.

Although two months have passed since the agreement between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad, the outgoing government has yet to hand over oil and revenues to Baghdad to help resolve the salary crisis in the region.
