The outgoing Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced that it will hold a meeting today to discuss the latest developments in oil and non-oil revenues, as well as the outcomes of yesterday’s meeting of the Iraqi Council of Ministers.

According to a statement from the Media and Information Office, the meeting will also review the joint minutes of the ministries and relevant bodies from September 2, outlining proposals for the implementation of the Peshmerga service and pension law.

In addition, recommendations from the Ministry of Finance will be addressed, particularly regarding the facilitation of loans and advances related to housing, agriculture, industry, and tourism.

Another key point on the agenda will be the unification of financial procedures between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government of Iraq. The meeting is expected to discuss proposals for harmonizing tax guidelines and rates between the two sides in an effort to strengthen financial coordination.
