The Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) announced Sunday that it has expelled 751 candidates from the upcoming parliamentary elections, citing issues related to questioning, criminal charges, and corruption cases.
IHEC confirmed that the final list of candidates will be approved in October. Official campaigning is set to begin on October 9 and will continue until two days before the election date.
