Shaswar Abdulwahid Qadir, leader of the New Generation Movement, said on Wednesday that the outgoing Kurdistan Regional Government has finally accepted Baghdad’s demands, after refusing to do so for three months.
"Baghdad has been calling for an agreement for three months, but the PUK and KDP didn’t respond and continued to oppress the people,” he said.
"If this agreement isn’t just part of an election campaign, then good job,” he added.
He concluded: "Enough with the oppression of this people.”
