The first confirmed case of dengue fever in Duhok has resulted in death, according to the director of Azadi Hospital. A 45-year-old woman, who was diagnosed with the virus, died after three days of hospitalization. The hospital confirmed the diagnosis and noted this is the first fatality linked to dengue in the province.
