Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), Qubad Talabani, stated on Tuesday that no agreement has yet been reached with the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) regarding the formation of a new cabinet.
Talabani emphasized that political negotiations are still ongoing and said it is unlikely that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) will participate in the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections on a joint list with the PDK.
In response to a question about public employee salaries, he stated, "We are still waiting for the approval of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance on several financial matters.”
