Gulf Keystone has announced the resumption of oil production in most of the Kurdistan Region’s oil fields, including the Sheikhan oil field.
The Canadian company, which holds an 80 percent stake in the Sheikhan field, reported that the field produces more than 46,000 barrels of oil per day. Production has now resumed across most of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) oil fields.
The company also revealed that revenue increased by approximately $30 million compared to the first six months of the previous year, reflecting the strong recovery in production and operations.
