Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed his support for the work of the parliamentary committee on the peace process, stressing that any harm to this effort would come at a "heavy price.”
"They want to stop the bloodshed, stop the tears and the suffering, and any damage to this opportunity will be a heavy price,” Erdogan said, describing the process as a national issue.
He urged political institutions to adopt a united national position, noting that Turkey is home to Turkish, Kurdish, and Arab communities, and that unity is essential to lasting peace.
