The New Generation Movement faction has accused the outgoing Kurdistan Regional Government of failing to comply with its July agreement with Baghdad to hand over 280,000 barrels of oil per day and 120 billion dinars monthly in exchange for employee salaries.
According to the faction, the KRG has neither delivered the agreed oil revenue nor ensured timely payments, leaving civil servants without their June wages well into August. "Enough of playing with the feelings and dignity of salaried employees,” the group said, warning that if salaries are not distributed within a week, they will take a "serious position” against the government.
