A violent altercation broke out on Monday night in the gardens of Barika village, Garmian province, leaving one man dead and another seriously injured, a security source told NRT.
The victim, an employee of a security force, died at the scene, while the injured, a teacher, was rushed to Sulaimani Emergency Hospital after receiving initial treatment at Kalar Emergency Hospital. The suspect, identified by authorities, surrendered to security forces shortly after the incident.
