A tragic incident occurred in Kalar’s Sherwana neighborhood on Sunday, August 10, 2025, when a 56-year-old man lost his life due to an electric shock.
Rafiq Qadir, director of Shahid Hazhar Emergency Hospital, told NRT that the victim, identified as Wafiq Sabir, was brought to the hospital early in the morning but had already passed away.
According to police reports, Sabir was digging a well when he came into contact with an electrical source, leading to his immediate death. His body has been transferred to Kalar’s forensic medical examination center for further investigation.
