Sulaimani International Airport announced on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, that it has received official notice from the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority confirming the reopening of Iraqi airspace to all flights starting at 10:30 a.m. The Ministry of Transportation also confirmed the reopening, initially in the southern regions, with flights expected to resume shortly.
