The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is holding a meeting today to review progress on oil export negotiations and a proposed reorganization of the pension system. Salaries are not on the agenda.
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Council of Ministers held a meeting today to discuss the latest developments in negotiations regarding the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region.
While the issue of salaries was not included on the agenda, the session also included a proposal for a draft decision to reorganize the Public Pension Management Institution in the Kurdistan Region.
In addition to oil, the KRG has continued efforts to diversify its revenue sources. Non-oil revenues are projected to reach 79 trillion dinars by 2028, as part of broader reforms to reduce economic reliance on oil.
