63% of voters plan to participate in Kurdistan parliamentary election: survey

SULAIMANI – Around 63 percent of eligible voters from across the Kurdistan Region plan to vote in the parliamentary election set to be held on September 30, according to a survey conducted by Shar Polling Organization.

In its survey conducted betweenAugust 1 to 27, the organization asked 1640 individuals from Sulaimani, Erbil, and Duhok whether they would vote if the election took place next week.

A total of 62.7 percent of the participants said “yes,” 26 percent said “no,” and 11 percent said that they had not decided yet.
