Two new cases of coronavirus recorded in Erbil: ministry

SULAIMANI — The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Ministry of Health said on Tuesday (May 26) that it recorded two new cases of coronavirus in Erbil governorate.

The newest patients are two men, a 38-year-old from Abu Jarda village and a 29-year-old from Ankawa district in Erbil. The former had contact with previously identified patients and the latter presented with symptoms of the disease.

According to health minister, there have been 504 cases of coronavirus in the Kurdistan Region. Four hundred and three patients have recovered from COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus infection, and five have died from it.
