Six new cases of coronavirus recorded in Erbil: ministry

SULAIMANI — The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Ministry of Health said on Monday (May 25) that it recorded six new cases of coronavirus in Erbil governorate.

The newest cases include two women, aged 40 and 18, two men, aged 70 and 60, and two children, aged 10 and six. Three of them had contact with previously identified patients and three presented with symptoms of the disease.

According to health minister, there have been 502 cases of coronavirus in the Kurdistan Region. Four hundred and three patients have recovered from COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus infection, and five have died from it.
