Iraq extends coronavirus curfew until April 18

SULAIMANI — Iraq’s Supreme Committee for Coronavirus Response announced on Tuesday night (April 7) that the curfew imposed on Iraq to prevent the spread of coronavirus has been extended until at least April 18.

The committee also said that it will help Iraqi nationals stranded abroad return home and will provide places for them to quarantine.

According to the federal health ministry, there have been 1,122 cases of coronavirus in the country. Sixty-five people have died from OCVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus infection, and 375 patients have recovered.
