Airstrike in Amedi wounds three: sources

SULAIMANI – Three civilians were wounded on Thursday night (July 18) by a Turkish airstrike in Spindar village in the Kurdistan Region’s Amedi district, according to local sources.

The strike took place at approximately 7:00 p.m. when Turkish warplanes targeted a vehicle belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

“The number of the casualties is still unknown,” Hilmi said, indicating that the total may rise.

The three wounded individuals were evacuated to Duhok Hospital.

Separately, Turkish fighter jets targeted another PKK vehicle in Sargale village, also in Amedi district.
