The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission (IHEC) announced on Wednesday that several local organizations have registered to participate in monitoring the election process, while international organizations have also expressed interest in joining the observation mission.
Qais Mohammadawi, head of the High Election Security Committee, confirmed that no curfew will be imposed during the polling days and that traffic will continue as normal across all cities.
Meanwhile, Hassan Hadi, a member of the IHEC media team, said that voters will not be allowed to enter polling stations without their voting cards. The commission also reiterated that mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside polling stations.
