The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has handed over 120 billion dinars in non-oil revenue to Baghdad for the month of August, according to a statement from the KRG’s Ministry of Finance on Tuesday.
A senior source in the Iraqi Council of Ministers told NRT that following the transfer, several administrative procedures will be carried out before the salaries for August are disbursed.
However, the previous KRG cabinet has yet to send the non-oil revenues for both August and September.
The salaries for the eighth month are expected to be paid by the end of the week.
