Despite recent tensions and violent clashes with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), the People’s Front has pledged to continue its political work.
Shadman Mullah Hassan, a senior member of the People’s Front and close associate of Lahur Jangi, said during a party meeting in Erbil that the events of August 22, which culminated in Jangi’s arrest, were a central focus of discussion.
He emphasized that all members of the People’s Front remain committed to continuing their political struggle, stressing that the movement will not stop its activities.
Mullah Hassan also underlined that the responsibility for the safety of Lahur Jangi and his fellow members lies with the PUK.
