Khalid Abbas, head of the Iraqi Commission’s Duhok office, announced Saturday that 10 political parties and two independent candidates have registered to run in the upcoming November 11 parliamentary elections. A total of 59 candidates, including 21 women, have been submitted so far, while the office is seeking 10,000 staff members to manage the ballot process.
