The Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Tuesday, June 23, 2025, that a hidden warehouse containing smuggled drugs was discovered inside a pharmacy during an inspection by the Ministry of Health’s Drug Supervision Committee in coordination with the Pharmacists Union in Sulaimani. The pharmacy was closed and legal action has been taken for violating health regulations and handling illegal medications.
