Nawzad Kamil, Director General of Commerce for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), confirmed on Monday that trade between the Kurdistan Region and Iran is ongoing and has not been disrupted.
Speaking to NRT, Kamil announced that preparations for distributing the fourth food ration are underway. He noted that 85% of the third food ration has already been distributed and the fourth ration has been received. The distribution of the fourth ration will begin once the current round is complete.
Kamil also stated that the food application process is still open, with citizens having until July 5 to register. If necessary, the deadline will be extended for another 10 to 15 days. However, the application is limited to Iraqi citizens currently inside the country; those abroad cannot register, while those on temporary trips may apply upon their return.
