SULAIMANI — The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Ministry of Health announced on Saturday (April 17) it had officially recorded 645 new cases of coronavirus infections over the past 24 hours.

There were 487 new cases in Duhok governorate, 82 in Erbil, 62 in Sulaimani, eleven in Garmian administration, and three in Halabja.

On October 27, the Region recorded its highest single-day total with 1,597 infections.
