Kurdistan Parliament meets on International Women's Day

Also celebrating 30th anniversary of Raparin

SULAIMANI — The Kurdistan Parliament met for its first working session of the 2021 Spring Session on Monday (March 8).

Lawmakers also marked International Women’s Day, with Chair of the Protection of Women’s Rights Committee Lanja Dizayee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) making a speech.

According to the agenda, the Parliament will also discuss the 30th anniversary of the 1991 Kurdish uprising, known as the Raparin.

It will hold a second reading of the Bill of Protection of Domestic Products.
