Three new cases of coronavirus recorded in Kurdistan Region

SULAIMANI — The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Ministry of Health said on Monday night (April 6) that it has recorded three new cases of coronavirus infection in the Region.

The newest patients are three women from Halabja governorate, Hajiawa, and Bazian sub-districts. Two of them had contact with other local patients and one has recently returned from abroad.

With the new case in Hajiawa, there are now two cases in Raparin administration.

So far, 280 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Region. At least two people have died and 88 others have recovered from COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus infection.
