Four new coronavirus recoveries in Kirkuk: directorate

SULAIMANI — Health authorities in Kirkuk said on Sunday night (April 5) that four more patients in the governorate have recovered from COVID-19, the disease caused by coronavirus infection.

One of the newly recovered patients became the first recorded case in the city when they tested positive last month, said acting Kirkuk Health Director Zyad Khalaf.

According to official statistics, 961 people have tested positive for coronavirus infection in Iraq. Sixty-one people have died from the COVID-19 and 283 patients have recovered.
