Kurdistan Parliament to hold session on non-contract teachers, fuel issues

SULAIMANI — The Kurdistan Parliament said on Sunday (October 24) that it will hold a parliamentary session on Tuesday to discuss the problems and demands of non-contract teachers in the Kurdistan Region.

Lawmakers will hold first reading of the Bill on Supervision of Agricultural Projects.

Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee will present scrutiny on non-contract teachers who have been on strike over the past two weeks, and three top university graduates and their rights to recruitment in the public sector.

Energy and Natural Resources Committee will also present their reports regarding the issue of fuel and solutions to the problems.
