Four suspected ISIS members arrested in northern Turkey

SULAIMANI — Four suspected Islamic State (ISIS) members from Iraq were arrested in Samsun on Turkey’s Black Sea coast on Wednesday (December 1), the city’s security directorate said.

The suspects were Iraqi citizens and were arrested in simultaneous operations in the city, according to Anadolu Agency.

Digital devices and documents related to ISIS were seized in the operations, Turkish media said.

Three other suspects, also of Iraqi nationality, were arrested on Thursday in Samsun for suspected links to ISIS and set to be deported on Wednesday.
